“…and there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.” … Luke 21:25
“And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;”… Revelation 8:8-9
“In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End.”…Saint Malachy
At approx. 8:30 ET time this morning, in the presence of 2 college student friends, I proposed the theory of the Russian meteor being a fragment or tag along of Asteroid 2012 DA14 which is passing close to earth today. Another meteor make have struck Cuba today.
Asteroids and Comets are made up of some of the same substances.

“What Are The Differences Between An Asteroid, Comet, Meteoroid, Meteor and Meteorite?
In space, a large rocky body in orbit about the Sun is referred to as an asteroid or minor planet whereas much smaller particles in orbit about the Sun are referred to as meteoroids. Once a meteoroid enters the Earth’s atmosphere and vaporizes, it becomes a meteor (i.e., shooting star). If a small asteroid or large meteoroid survives its fiery passage through the Earth’s atmosphere and lands upon the Earth’s surface, it is then called a meteorite. Cometary debris is the source of most small meteoroid particles. Many comets generate meteoroid streams when their icy cometary nuclei pass near the Sun and release the dust particles that were once embedded in the cometary ices. These meteoroid particles then follow in the wake of the parent comet. Collisions between asteroids in space create smaller asteroidal fragments and these fragments are the sources of most meteorites that have struck the Earth’s surface.
Because they are readily available for study, many meteorites have already been subjected to detailed chemical and physical analyses in laboratories. If particular asteroids can be identified as the sources for some of the well-studied meteorites, a detailed knowledge of the meteorite’s composition and structure will provide important information on the chemical mixture and conditions from which the parent asteroid formed 4.6 billion years ago.
Summary Table
Asteroid | A relatively small, inactive, rocky body orbiting the Sun. |
Comet | A relatively small, at times active, object whose ices can vaporize in sunlight forming an atmosphere (coma) of dust and gas and, sometimes, a tail of dust and/or gas. |
Meteoroid | A small particle from a comet or asteroid orbiting the Sun. |
Meteor | The light phenomena which results when a meteoroid enters the Earth’s atmosphere and vaporizes; a shooting star. |
Meteorite | A meteoroid that survives its passage through the Earth’s atmosphere and lands upon the Earth’s surface. |

Comet P/Shoemaker-Levy 9
“Comet P/Shoemaker-Levy 9 was discovered by Carolyn and Gene Shoemaker and David Levy in a photograph taken on March 18, 1993 with the 0.4-meter Schmidt telescope at Mt. Palomar. The comet was in orbit around Jupiter with a period of about 2 years, and last made a close approach to Jupiter on July 7, 1992, at a distance of approximately 0.38 Jupiter radii (71,400 km) above the cloud tops. Approximately 1.5 to 2.2 hours after closest approach, the comet (which was presumably a single body at the time) was broken apart by tidal forces into at least 21 pieces.”

Meteor Crash, This Time In CUBA
Meteor fall again
Cuba, 15.02.2013 Residents of a locality ‘in the central region of Cuba said they had seen an object that fell from the sky and exploded with a great noise, which shook the houses of the place: it is learned from testimonies collected by local television. In service published this morning by Rodas, town in the province of Cienfuegos, witnesses described a very bright light that has come to have large size, comparable to that of a bus, before exploding in the sky.
Huge explosion in the sky in Cuba Meanwhile, also from Cuba has been reported in an explosion sky. In the central region of the island has seen an object that fell from the sky and exploded with a great noise, which shook the houses in the place, reports on local television. In a report released this morning by Rodas, town in the province of Cienfuegos, witnesses described a very bright light that has come to have large size, comparable to that of a bus, before exploding in the sky. Marcos Rodriguez, a resident in region, as defined by the issuer an expert, reported that “everything seems to indicate that it was a fireball, which is a fragment of stone and metal that enters the Earth’s atmosphere at high speed.” Experts are now examining the area for possible remains Rodas minerals falling from the sky, the TV station added.”
