Initial estimates indicate that Barack Obama has won the democratic primary in Texas. A combination of the popular vote and Texas caucus gives Obama 99 delegates to Clinton’s 94. Spitzer resigns, Governor Eliot Spitzer resigns, democratic governor tied to prostitution ring

Democratic NY governor Eliot Spitzer resigns. Eliot Spitzer has resigned his office as democratic governor of NY over allegations of involvement with a prostitution ring. Spitzer said: “atone for my private failings” with family members. “The remorse I feel will always be with me and words cannot describe how grateful I am for the love and copmpassion they have shown me,”
